The refurbishment and extension of an ordinary 2 story semi-detached home at Kota Kemuning Hill, it has considerably large open green garden at the side and the rear of the property. The brief commissioned was to accommodates a new reading room, wet kitchen and also to have larger rooms on the upper floor, while at the same time to reserved and enhance the lush greenery.
With the brief given, the transformation of The Nature Haven focus intensively on allowing nature, light and air to fabulously slip inside and flow through the house. While the solid wall provides privacy to the house, all the main living spaces are designed to be opened facing the landscape as possible it could, where the inside and outside spaces are seen to be merged as one, eliminated the boundary between architecture and landscape harmony. The outcome of the transformation not only fulfilled the owner but successfully crafted as a haven of tranquility and serenity nestled amidst lush greenery and embraced by nature’s gentle graze.
